"JOY" Group
In our 34th year, the J.O.Y. (Just Older Youth) Group remains an active and healthy organization dedicated to providing fellowship opportunities and support to the participating senior members and friends of The Lutheran Church of Our Savior. Our members include mainly retired (and semi-retired) couples and singles who enjoy each others company while sharing in the social and spiritual experiences of a varied and balanced JOY program.
The JOY Group generally meets once a month for an event that might include a "brown-bag" lunch at church, an evening at the theater, a dinner out, a one day out-of-town bus tour, etc. The extent of our activities reflects the creativity of dedicated members with a strong sensitivity for Christian fellowship. The strongest element of our success is the fact that we all enjoy having a good time together! This atmosphere spans the entire scope of our program from entertainment to spiritual interests.
Often, seniors are faced with the need for support from friends. The JOY Group is an ideal source for such help from caring Christians.
